Bomb derails St Petersburg-bound express train, 25 people killed
Aside from those killed, 92 people were hospitalized, and four people are still missing after the accident that occurred at 9:48 p.m. in the Tver Region, according to the Emergency Situations Ministry. Six foreigners were among those people injured in the blast, according to the Healthcare and Social Development Ministry. Sergei Tarasov, head of the Russian Federal Highway Agency, and Boris Yevstratikov, head of the Russian State Reserve Agency, were among those killed in the accident. The Prosecutor General’s Office opened a criminal case on the incident, which was officially classified as "terrorism." Russian prosecutors are currently searching for people involved in the bombing.
