MOSCOW, Jan 29 (PRIME-TASS) -- Russian subsidies provided in connection with oil supplies to Belarus may total U.S. $2 billion in 2010, Russian Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko said on Thursday during his visit to Finland, ITAR-TASS reported.

He was commenting on Russian–Belarusian oil supply agreements concluded on Wednesday covering the pricing method and oil volumes for 2010.

Shmatko reiterated that Belarus would receive 6.3 million tonnes of Russian oil free of duty in 2010.
