CBR: Growth rate of bank loan portfolios plummets in Jan–Oct
MOSCOW, Nov 25 (PRIME-TASS) -- The combined loan portfolio of Russian banks rose 1.2% in January–October as compared to growth of 31.7% in the same period of 2008, Alexei Simanovsky, head of the Central Bank of Russia's (CBR) regulation department, told reporters Wednesday.
The combined loan portfolio rose 3.2% in the year to November 1, Simanovsky said.
In nominal terms, the combined loan portfolio amounted to 12.657 trillion rubles on November 1 as compared to 12.510 trillion rubles on January 1.
