Official sees Russian airlines performing better in 2010
MOSCOW, Feb 9 (PRIME-TASS) -- Deputy Transportation Minister Valery Okulov on Tuesday said he expected the performance of Russian airlines to improve in 2010 in comparison to the previous year, ITAR-TASS reported.
"There are certain hopeful signs," he said. "Since October–November we've seen an increase in demand for (air) carriage."
He said he expected an increase in business activity and tourism to boost demand for airline services.
